Market: every 4th sunday of the month a small market with typical products of the area such as wine, cheese, hams, salami, oil vinsanto, truffle, plants, honey.

Maggio Castiglionese - (May)
An event which celebrates the month of may with various festivities such as medieval banquet, antique market, cultural events, firework displays and sport show.

Medieval banquet (may)
In a strictly medieval scenario you can enjoy the tastes of ancient and refined dishes, cheered on by vintage music played with antique instruments, by the light of torches and candles, displays of jugglers, jesters, fire eaters, musicians and "sbandieratori" (display of flag throwing).

"Palio" (june)
In honore of "Madonna delle Grazie", in the morning offering of candles and blessing of the horses and late afternoon in piazza Garibaldi follows the "palio" (horse race). 

"I Giorni di Bacco" (october)
Promotion event dedicated to locally produced wines. In the stands that go up through the town you can taste and drink these typical local products.

Holy week (Easter)
Full of initiatives and religious displays extremely suggestive. There is a procession for the passion of Jesus where different confraternities parade in hoods.

"Presepe" (Christmas)
Hundreds of people with period costumes take part in the sacred representation of the birth of Cristh set in the most characteristic part of the old town. You will see roman soldiers, the palace oh Herod, blacksmiths, grinders, basket weavers, and shepherds with their sheep, including baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
